We blast with crushed glass grit, made from waste bottles / windows or any other glass waste that would previously have gone to land fill as waste, it is ground down then washed and screened to size (around the size of grains of sugar) it is then suitable to be used as blasting media, the benefit of this is that most other blasting media is imported to the UK and so has a large carbon footprint where as Glass grit is produced in the UK, which we source locally; this not only keeps our costs down so that we can keep our prices affordable, but it’s also environmentally friendly and completely safe for the environment.
